The Advanced, Patented, Cradle™ Nose-sprocket Design
Cradle™ is the name of the patented new nose-sprocket design now being built into Oregon ® professional guide bars. On stan-dard noses, the entire weight and load of the chain is carried by the tips of the sprocket teeth. But on a Cradle ™ sprocket, the weight and load is spread out over the much larger surface area between each tooth. The end result is a dramatic decrease in sprocket problems and nose-sprocket life that is 150% to 300% longer.
